1. Where is Samsara farmstay located?

 

Samsara farmstay is located in Chakki village,  which is 1.5 km from Naggar towards Manali.

 

2. How can I reach if I'm coming from Delhi/ Chandigarh?

 

If you are coming by volvo, please inform the bus conductor or Driver that you need to get down at patlikhul and from there Samsara is only 6 kms. Either we can send the taxi or you can take the taxi by your own from patlikhul. Taxi will drop you at shiv mandir and there is 5 to 7 mins walk from the main roads.

 

3. Does Samsara has private parking in the property?

 

Sorry, we don't  have a private parking and all the cars get parked  on the main road only, which is completely safe. And there is 5 to 7 mins walk from the main road.

 

4. How can I reach if I'm coming from Manali?

 

You can take the bus to Naggar from Manali bus stand and get down at Shiv mandir, Chakki village, which is 1.5km before Naggar. And there is 5 to 7 mins walk from the main road.

 

5. Is the property workation Friendly?

 

Yes, anybody can stay here for long term and work remotely  as we provide  all the basic amenities along with the free WiFi (high speed internet).

 

6. What all things one can do around the property?

 

You can visit Naggar castle, roerich art gallery,  krishna Mandri, Gauri Shankar Mandir, etc. You can also do village walk walk to the river, couple of waterfalls, a small monastery  or you can just board a bus to manali from the main road right outside the village. 

You can  also drive to atal tunnel, rohtang pass, hamta village, Bijli Mahadev temple, 

etc. 

If you wish to eat outside there the some good restaurants and bakeries.

 

7. What all in-house activities  do you offer?

 

We offer lots of in-house workshop and outdoor activities and you can learn many artistic things from us.

You can also go for outdoor activities  where we can organize a single day hike to multi days trek for you. We also offer nature friendly and authentic  camping outings for our guests. 

 

You can also take part in our camping workshop where we teach how one can/should  have a safe, environment friendly and fun camping experience. You can also learn what things you can carry for your camping outings, how to travel light and how  to pack you bags.

 

Charges for everything workshop and activity is different. 

 

8. All the rooms have attached bathroom?

Sorry, since it a old himachali house, we don't have washroom attached in any of the rooms. But we keep the bathroom super clean and take care of the personal hygiene as we also stay in the same property. 

 

9. Is the property pet friendly?

 

Yes, property is pet friendly but we don't allow pets along with guests as we already have a dog in the house. 

 

10. Is the food included in the tariff?

 

Sorry, food is not included in the tariff. We charge separately for the food.  

 

11. Do you also serve food?

 

Yes, we serve fresh home cooked food. And we also have a small menu so you can also order from the menu.

 

12. Can you include food in the room tariff and make a package for us?

 

Sorry, we don't have any package inclusive of food as we really maintain  the high quality of food. We believe in serving  the same food  to our guests what we eat. Also, during the season  time we serve home grown vegetables which are 100% organic.  Hence, we charge separately for the food.

 

13. How can I book a room at Samsara Farmstay?

 

You can either book through Airbnb or directly with us. You can pay 50 percent advance to reserve the room and rest of the amount you can pay at the time of check in. 

 

14. Can I use the washing Machine?

 

Sorry, washing machine  is for our personal use only. However,  you can give your  clothes to the staff wash and return them to you same day or next morning. 

 

15. Can I also use the kitchen?

 

Sorry, we don't allow guests in the kitchen.  However,  we also serve fresh home cooked food and have a small menu as well.  So please let us know if you want to eat something from our hungry bird's kitchen. 

 

16. Can we bring food from outside? 

 

Yes, you can bring food from outside  but please  also bring disposables along with the food. Also, outside food is not allowed in the kitchen.

 

17. What type of rooms do you have?

 

We have a double bedroom on the ground floor, duplex room and dormitory on the first floor. 

 

18. What are the room tariffs?

 

Double  bedroom, duplex  room and dormitory is for 2500, 3500 (upto 3 guests) and 850 per night respectively. 

We charge 500 per extra guest.

 

19. How many beds you have in the Dormitory?

 

We have 4 single beds in the Dormitory. 

 

20. Can I get the dedicated workspace as I'm on workation?

 

We understand that you don't want to get disturbed during your office hours but we don't  have a dedicated workstation for the guests working remotely.  You can sit anywhere and work or we suggest you to book a private room for yourself.
